How specialty process rooms differ
These rooms are not only about holding a storage setpoint. They support a process — export fumigation, crop drying/curing or chemical storage under safety rules — so sealing, airflow, materials and controls must follow that standard.
Duties we design for
Fumigation rooms
Used for export produce that must control insects and eggs. Priorities include enclosure sealing, leak testing and safe operator procedures.
Longan drying and tobacco curing rooms
Temperature, humidity and air cycles follow the drying or curing recipe — not a standard chill-room brief.
Chemical cold stores
Hold chemicals that degrade with heat or temperature swing. Material compatibility, ventilation and emergency planning must match site requirements.
