Overview
A processing room is a temperature-controlled space with staff on the line. Setpoints are typically +16°C to +20°C (product-dependent), sometimes with added CO₂ or ventilation control.
Design notes
Design must serve both people and product:
- Heat load from machinery and occupancy
- Wall, insulation, and floor finishes suited to sanitation standards
- Airflow and room pressurisation strategy
When to use / expected results
Suited to food, pharmaceutical, and supplement plants that need clean, controlled production areas. When matched to the process, conditions are usually more stable and hygienic — outcomes depend on standards and product type.
